I am incredibly excited about tomorrow, when the final of ‘The Business Book Awards will take place at The Drum in Wembley! It’s been such an incredible journey leading up to this moment, and I can’t wait to meet the other authors.

When I decided to write ‘She Can Prosper’ last year, I knew there was an hugely important need to share this message with women. I had been planning to write a book for many years, and I knew it had to be about financial empowerment for women.

Creating the title was easy as it is the same name as the organisation I founded in 2020.

She Can Prosper: Unlocking financial independence and empowering women to thrive.

The strapline encompasses what this book aims to do, helping women thrive.

The book guides women in navigating the challenges of planning their financial future. It offers insights on financial planning, some drawn from my own journey and expertise.

Over the years, I’ve had countless conversations with women who had, often unknowingly, handed over the reins of their financial well-being to their partners.

Many didn’t realise the significance of understanding their own financial situation. Others trusted that their partners were handling it, not seeing the need to involve themselves.

Life Challenges

Unfortunately, life has a way of throwing unexpected challenges our way. Divorce, death, or sudden changes in circumstances left many of these women facing a harsh reality: they were financially vulnerable. They hadn’t been prepared for the challenges of managing their finances in these difficult times.

‘She Can Prosper’ was written to empower women to take charge of their financial futures, educate them, and ensure that no woman feels unprepared or powerless when it comes to her financial well-being. It is a step-by-step guide, written in an easily digestible format and something you can refer to over and over again. I would describe it as a life guide, so you work through the book at different stages of your life.

What topics are included in the book?

I included stories from women, some of whom made great financial decisions, and others not so.

Here is a list of what is covered in the book, and these areas are further illustrated with stories related to the topics.
